The TOOWEI D Series panel mount key lock switch is designed for equipment control, operator authorization and restricted function access in industrial and commercial control systems. The series includes 12mm, 16mm and 19mm mounting options with SPST and DPST contact configurations, allowing buyers to select the appropriate circuit structure for different equipment designs.

All current D Series models use a two-position OFF–ON switching function. In the OFF position, the contacts remain open, while turning the key to the ON position closes the circuit. The D102 and D332 models use an SPST circuit with two solder terminals, while the D286A models use a DPST structure with four terminals, allowing two separate contact circuits to operate simultaneously.

Different key-removal arrangements are available within the series. The D102, D286A-2 and D332 allow the key to be removed in both OFF and ON positions. The D286A-1 allows key removal only in the OFF position, helping prevent the key from being removed while the controlled equipment remains energized.

The D Series key lock switches feature a zinc alloy housing with a nickel-plated and bright chrome-plated finish. Silver-plated contacts provide stable electrical switching, while solder terminals support secure panel wiring. Each switch is installed through a threaded panel opening and secured with the supplied hex nut. Two matching keys are supplied with every switch.

Rated at 2A 250VAC and 4A 125VAC, the D Series is suitable for low-to-medium current control circuits in machinery, control panels, access-controlled equipment and electrical systems. Its compact panel mount design makes it a practical choice for manufacturers requiring a simple mechanical key-operated control function without additional electronic control modules.

D Series key lock switches are suitable for applications where selected functions should only be operated by authorized personnel. They can be used to enable or disable equipment power, control operating modes, restrict access to machine functions or prevent unauthorized operation of a control system.
